PPL training
Frequently asked questions about our PPL course
We have created a comprehensive page for this question: https://www.eflight.nl/pages/alles-over-de-kosten-van-een-ppl-opleiding
Yes, each lesson includes at least one landing and on top of that a set of landings per course is included so that you end up with 155 landings in total included in the package prices.
In principle this number should be sufficient. Do you still need extra landings? Then these will be charged afterwards according to these airport fees. We pass these on to you without any markup.
Most lessons will be conducted in a Pipistrel Velis Electro. Navigation flights can be flown in a Pipistrel Explorer or a Bristell B23. All aircraft are very modern; almost all were newly purchased by us. The prices listed on this page apply to navigation flights with the Pipistrel Explorer.
The more often you fly, the sooner you can take your exam. It’s entirely up to you. That said, 4 or 5 flights per day is kind of the max. The 45 hours for your PPL can therefore (theoretically) be completed in a few weeks. But your fellow students may also take a year or longer. It’s up to you! Some regularity will help you get the hang of it faster. Note: In addition to the practical lessons you will also need to pass your theory exams. You can do this before or during your training.
