    `Learn to fly in the fully electric Pipistrel Velis Electro for €2.082 incl VAT.`

    A PPL license has always stated that you may fly a single-engine piston (SEP or piston engine). Since 2021 it has also been possible to undertake a difference training within the SEP class rating, after which you are permitted to fly electric aircraft as well. At the moment the Pipistrel Velis Electro is the only aircraft in the world with EASA certification. Around 100 are already flying and that number is increasing very quickly.

    E-Conversion Content

    Theory

    • The theory consists of an e-learning course with a short test. Expect approximately 10 hours of study

    Practice

    • A total of four flights with an instructor
    • One solo flight
    • The endorsement will be added to your logbook by the instructor after successfully completing the course
    • Includes 10 landings, electricity, VAT and good fairtrade coffee

    Good to know

    • For an E-Conversion you must already have a valid PPL or LAPL license. A higher license such as CPL or ATPL is of course also acceptable.
    • You must hold a valid medical certificate.
    • Please note that the MTOW (Maximal Take-Off Weight) of the Pipistrel Velis Electro is 600 kilogram. Pilot and passenger (or instructor and student) together must not weigh more than 172 kilogram.
    • Pilots who have successfully completed this training can also rent our Velis Electro. More on this site soon.
