E-Flight Launches Club for E-Pilots
E-Flight Academy, Europe's first electric flight school, proudly announces the launch of E-Flight Club, a community for pioneers in sustainable aviation who can all actually fly electrically. 65 members, who obtained their pilot's license electrically or completed an E-Conversion, have joined the club from the start.
"Since the founding of E-Flight Academy, more than two years ago, we have trained a large group of e-pilots who each share an unprecedented passion for electric flying. With the E-Flight Club we bring these enthusiastic pioneers together, create a platform for sharing experiences, making new connections and offer the opportunity to jointly participate in exciting events. The E-Flight Club is more than a club, it is the home base of the makers of sustainable aviation," says Merlijn van Vliet, Community Manager at E-Flight Club.
E-Masters Tournament
To celebrate the launch of E-Flight Club, E-Flight announces the very first edition of the E-Masters Tournament, an exciting event that will take place on Friday, October 6 at E-Flight Academy. This tournament, exclusive to E-Flight Club members, is a rally consisting of two flights in the Pipistrel Velis Electro. Participants fly in pairs and must complete various assignments including flying as energy-efficiently as possible. Registration as a visitor to the E-Masters Tournament is also possible.
Advanced Pilot Training
E-Flight also announces a new Advanced E-Pilot Training. This training program is designed for passionate e-pilots who are always looking for ways to improve their flying skills and take on new challenges. The package consists of three components: Stickless Flying, Crosswind Landings and Right Seat Check-out.
International
Looking ahead, E-Flight Club will focus in the coming period on building and expanding the community. The club will initially operate from their home base in Teuge, but has ambitions that reach further. Plans are underway to roll out E-Flight Club internationally.
