Training content:
- 31,5 uur flight instruction:26,5 uur DUAL instruction5 uur Mutual (or DUAL with FI(FI))
- Technical Phase (Phase 1): training in aircraft handling, demonstrations, coaching, teaching theory lessons and conducting briefings.
- Non-Technical Phase (Phase 2): focus on human behaviour and interaction with students, role-plays and evaluations.
- Progress Checks after both phases; phase 2 also includes a Progress Test.
- Price includes VAT, landings, fuel and instruction. Additional costs for extra landings or repeated lessons.
Admission requirements
- Min. age: 17 (18 at certification)
- CPL(A), ATPL(A) or PPL(A) + CPL(A) theory
- Valid SEP class rating
- E-Conversion course completed – More info
- Authorized as PIC during the course
- 10 hours IR instruction received (5 hours may be FSTD)
- 20 hours VFR cross-country as PIC
- 170 hours total, 150 as PIC, 30 SEP of which 5 recent
- 540 km VFR cross-country with 2 full-stop landings
- English LPE level 4
- Pre-entry flight test within 6 months – included, unless not passed

No, not at the moment. You must fund your education yourself.
Yes. For this course we require several payments in advance for the various lesson packages. These include both flight lesson packages and theory packages. We will agree a payment schedule with you before the start.

The minimum age is 17 and there is officially no maximum age.
Yes, unfortunately. At the start we will fly a large part of the training on the Pipistrel Velis. It can carry a maximum of 180 kilo of weight. If you weigh more than 95 kilo, scheduling becomes difficult and you may not complete the training within 16 months. If you are tall it's also a good idea to first purchase a trial lesson to see if it "fits".
Training & Location
Main location is Teuge Airport (near Apeldoorn and Deventer). We will also soon start electric flight lessons at Lelystad.
Career & Future
No, unfortunately we can't do that at the moment. We do know that there is a huge shortage of flight instructors and that we ourselves often have a shortage. All the instructors we have trained so far also teach with us.
