You rent an aircraft from us, and you decide to fly to another airport. Once there, you enjoy the local cuisine, refuel, recharge, and so on. If you fly back after an hour, that's perfectly fine. We'll only charge the rental price of the aircraft. However, if it takes longer, such as multiple hours or even days, then we cannot use the aircraft for lessons or rent it to other people. In this case, we charge a fee for the time that we ourselves cannot use the aircraft.
How does it work?
- Call us to discuss your flight plan. Then we can check availability at 055 203 2230.
- The rental fee you pay for flying depends on the aircraft and you can find this on our website.
- One hour on the ground between the outbound and return flight is included
- If you stay on the ground longer than 1 hour, we charge 50 euros per hour for this. We round the time up.
- We only charge for time during opening hours (Mon-Sat from 9:00 to 18:00 and Sun 10:00 - 19:00)
Examples
- You rent our Velis and fly to Stadtlohn, you charge the aircraft, have a cup of coffee and fly back within the hour. You then only pay for aircraft rental.
- You go to Texel on Monday morning with the Explorer. You have an extensive lunch. 2 hours and 30 minutes after landing on Texel, you fly back. You arrive at Teuge at the end of the afternoon. In addition to the aircraft rental, you pay for 2 hours of compensation (first hour is included, one and a half hours we round up)
- You depart Saturday afternoon at 15:00 to Northern France with the Bristell B23. You land there a few hours later. Sunday late morning you arrive back at Teuge at 12:00 after a 3-hour flight. You do not pay any compensation for the absence of the aircraft because these hours were all outside the opening hours of E-Flight Academy.
