The assessment involves two intensive days of flying and simulator training at E-Flight Academy in Teuge: 4 flights in the Velis Electro and approximately 2 hours in the simulator, for €2.175. It is the next step after the information session, where we explore together whether the full-time ATPL program is right for you. Following a positive recommendation, you can join the class.

What the two days look like
Day 1
- 2 flights on the Velis Electro, our electric training aircraft
- 1 session in the Velis simulator
Day 2
- 1 hour in the Velis simulator
- 2 flights on the Velis Electro
The two days take place in the same week. Several instructors assess you, so your feedback doesn't depend on just one person's perspective.
How it works
- You can book the assessment on this page.
- Our Operations team will schedule the two days with you by email or phone.
- One week beforehand, you'll receive an account for WINGS, our scheduling and progress-tracking system, and an information pack: the flight manual, procedures, and aircraft manual.
- You complete the two days of flying.
- You'll receive the result along with your personal feedback report.
You always receive a feedback report
Even if the recommendation is negative. It explains what you're good at and what you still need to work on. The report is yours.
A positive recommendation - what's next?
You can then start in the next class, which begins on 11 January 2027.
We deliberately keep our classes small: 4 to 10 students. If more than 10 suitable candidates remain after the assessment deadline, we rank them by assessment results, not by who applied first. Anyone outside the top 10 moves to the next class.
Other things to arrange
- Class 1 medical. The aviation medical for professional pilots costs around €375 to €500. You need it before your first solo flight. Book it early: waiting times can stretch to several weeks.
Where you'll train
Corendon Dutch Airlines trains pilots with us. You'll share the E-Flight Academy campus in Teuge with their students.
During your training, you'll have a mentor and career sessions that include job application training. We are in direct contact with the HR departments at Corendon, JetView and Exxaero.

Good to know
- You pay for the assessment in advance. It is non-refundable, even if you receive a negative recommendation.
- The assessment does not count towards Private Pilot Licence (PPL) training: it is not an EASA-approved syllabus.
