ATPL training costs
The route to a commercial pilot license (Frozen ATPL) is an intensive journey, both in terms of time commitment and investment. At E-Flight Academy you follow this training modularly and sustainably, with partially electric flying and CO2 compensation for conventional propulsion. This way you learn future-oriented flying and reduce your ecological footprint.
Below you'll find an overview of the training components you need to obtain ATPL Frozen – including practical hours, theory and associated costs.
You'll see in the table that we offer two options. The first is in the form of a Modular ATPL Full-Time program where you work with multiple students to obtain your Frozen ATPL license in a short time. The stated price includes everything you need, except your medical examination. The second form is the individual ATPL program. Here all prices are listed for the training courses, but the exams and building flight hours are not included in the total price. Of course, the price in the first column is a good estimate.

Please note, the price for the individual program is lower, not because it's cheaper, but because we don't offer everything in this package. You can complete parts of your training elsewhere or gain flight experience outside E-Flight Academy. Skill tests are also paid separately from your training, but must of course be paid.

Notes on this table
PPL Theory
- The PPL theory for the individual track is completely self-study. For the full-time program you receive 64 hours of classroom instruction, and all necessary materials (books, flight computer, etc.)
- For the individual program, the theory exam and language proficiency are not included. For the full-time program, these are included
Skill tests
- Within the full-time program, all skill tests (exams) are included, except retakes.
Hour Building
- To take your CPL skill test, you need a minimum of 200 hours of experience. In the Full-Time program, you fly enough hours with our aircraft to meet the requirement. We also have instructors available to guide you in planning the flights. For the individual program, you can of course also rent our aircraft, but that can naturally also be done elsewhere.
ATPL Theory
- The Full-time program includes 264 hours of classroom instruction. You also receive all necessary books, online learning environments and materials you need.
