For a safe lesson and to make our instructor planning, we ask you for your weight (estimate)

We ask for the weight to confirm eligibility and assign the appropriate aircraft.

Do you often fly along with someone and see flying as complex as E=MC²? Or do you sometimes look up and think 'it would be so cool... but I don't have time for a full study'? Then the Fly-2-gether course is perfect for you! This course is for people who want to learn to fly themselves, but don't want to do a complete flight training.

What is it?

In the Fly-2-gether course, we'll teach you to fly until you can do it completely by yourself. We stop at the very first solo flight. You will have flown 15 hours and only received the theory directly supporting flying. So no boring regulations or sleep-inducing meteorology lessons. All the benefits without the burdens. From this point, you'll see that when flying along with someone, controlling an aircraft is not rocket science and actually much more fun than you thought. You can also boast at the bar that you learned to fully control an aircraft by yourself!

What is it not?

The bad news? After the Fly-2-gether course, you can only fly by yourself with an instructor next to you. You can take a lesson once a month or once a quarter to keep your skills sharp. As a co-pilot, you may never control the aircraft unless the pilot happens to also be an instructor. The Fly-2-gether course is not an approved flight training but a 100% fun course.

How does it work?

The Fly-2-gether flight course consists of the first lessons of the PPL (Private Pilot Licence) up to the first solo. All basic flight work will be trained and the necessary theory will be covered within the time slots. The lesson program consists of approximately 15 flight hours spread over 19 lessons. The first 6 flights of the Fly-2-gether course are exactly the same as an official flight training for a license. We call this the assessment period where you and we can see what we think of each other and how much you enjoy it. There's a good chance you'll find it much more fun than you thought! After the assessment period, we'll give you the chance to continue in an official flight training like the Private Pilot License (PPL) or Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL).

After completing the course, it is recommended to do a Fly-2-gether check once per quarter to test whether all learned skills are still at the right level.

Sustainable flying is an addiction we like to help kindle.

"Flying is a great invention. For many people, it's a dream to be able to control an aircraft. But often it remains just a dream because obtaining a license is also a big investment in time and money. For that group, there is now a manageable alternative: The Fly-2-gether flight course. A compact and affordable course where people are trained from take-off to landing. And all of this completely emission-free, much quieter, and in the newest electric aircraft." -- Evert-Jan Feld (Co-founder E-Flight Academy)

I always had this little desire to "fly a plane". We don't have this opportunity in India (unless you sign up for the full license training etc). Last week, when I visited Netherlands, my son recommended E-Flight academy. I had booked the class for the day I arrived. However the weather was not good and the school rescheduled it to another day. We drove down from Amsterdam and were greeted by the trainer. Warm welcome, coffee, and explained about the aircraft, the controls and other aspects. I got into the plane and was guided superbly by the trainer - to the extent that I could do most of the actions - taxi, takeoff, some of the maneuvering (stall, 360 turn, go up down, fly along the river etc). Landing was done by the trainer and followed by a debrief. Personally, a superb experience - the school, the staff who managed the appointment, the trainer and the actual flying !

I fly as an instructor on the same type of electric plane back home in Norway, so when I visited the area I just had to do a quick flight with E-Flight. This school is nothing other than impressive. The details put the dot over the i. They even have their own solar panels on the roof. Both the instructor and the rest of the staff are super welcoming and friendly, and skilled. The Velis Electro is an awesome airplane, quiet and comfortable - and E-Flights instructors make this into a great experience. Highly recommended! Thank you for being awesome, and thank you for helping bring electric aviation to the World, E-Flight!

My son (16) flew (himself!) with a seasoned E-Flight Academy instructor and could not stop talking about it on the way back home. Don't think this is just a fun attraction though, they are serious about flying. And take you serious. Even in this introductionary flight he got to learn a lot about the procedures, the plane, the avionics. And of course it is also great fun! It was a wonderful afternoon. And since it was an electric flight and E-flight Academy creates their own solar energy it was silent and clean! Thank you so much, we wish you many successes in pioneering the future of flight!

I did a trial lesson here and it was an amazing experience! The aircraft are brand new, the instructor was great and I could control the aircraft for most of the flight, doing some really interesting manoeuvres. It was also a good opportunity to learn more about electric aircraft.

Last Thursday I went flying at E-flight academy in Teuge to try out a class on the Pipistrel velis electro, I was really looking forward to flying an electric plane as its something new and innovative. The instructor was very friendly and gave a great explanation of the basics. While in the air the instructor still demonstrated some manoeuvres such as a stall and sharp turns. When it was my turn to fly I made some turns and went flying around the clouds, it was great! Overall I would say give it a try, flying electric is also a lot quieter.
