Where would you like to fly from?
Are you flying on a weekend during peak season (1 Apr – 1 Sept)?

From April through September (high season), weekend flights are more expensive due to higher landing fees.

Online scheduling isn't available for Lelystad yet. Contact us at planning@eflight.nl and we'll schedule your flight from Lelystad together.

NEW! In this DUO trial lesson, you and a friend share a lesson flight.

A lesson at E-Flight lasts two hours. Half an hour of briefing, then an hour in the aircraft, and then a debriefing of another half hour. In a duo lesson, you share the briefing and debriefing and split the time in the aircraft. Both 30 minutes, of which 20/25 minutes are flight time.

✓️ A unique experience for both of you!

✓️ Fly yourself in a 100% electric aircraft

✓️ A real lesson with an instructor, maybe the start of your pilot's licence?

✓️ An unforgettable experience, unique in the Netherlands!

Always wanted to learn to fly? Go for it! At E-Flight academy, you fly in an ultra-modern 100% electric aircraft. You fly much quieter, cleaner and easier than in a conventional aircraft. Together with an experienced instructor, you control the aircraft yourself. You will be amazed at how well that goes and you are guaranteed to gain an unforgettable experience.

Enjoy the surroundings.

The Netherlands from the air is beautiful. From the airport, there is a wide choice of views. How about beautiful Deventer, Paleis 't Loo, the Julianatoren, Berg en Bos, the Apenheul, the bends of the IJssel, the Veluwezoom, various castles, the National Park De Veluwe and the Veluwemeer or the Grebbeberg? So you will also be guided towards these gems in this lesson.

A real lesson

In a duo trial lesson at E-Flight, you share a full lesson together. After arriving at Airport Teuge, you will first receive a briefing and an explanation of the aircraft. You will learn about the technology, flight characteristics and controls. We taxi to the runway and take off to stay in the air for 20 to 25 minutes. You will learn how to climb, descend and turn. After landing, we taxi back to the hangar and you switch places with your friend. We head back to the runway and fly for another 20-25 minutes. After the lesson, you will receive a full debriefing. In total, the lesson lasts 2 hours.

After the lesson

Did you love it and want more? Then you may want to consider taking a Private Pilot License (PPL) training course with us. We start with an assessment consisting of about six lessons. The first one will already be behind you with this trial lesson!

These are the experiences of our customers

Good to know

  • If you weigh more than 95 kilos (with clothes and shoes on), or are taller than 1.95 m, please give us a call. With a maximum take-off weight of 600 kilos, there are restrictions.
  • This trial lesson includes fuel, electricity, one landing and surcharges. Everything, basically.
  • Normally there are two landings included in a trial lesson. If you are an experienced pilot, you may want to land more often or try a touch-and-go. That is no problem, but we will then charge the additional landing fees.

Arrange a date and time

When placing your order (at the top of this page), you can choose a date and time right away. You can also do that later. Of course, it may happen that the weather is not on our side and we have to reschedule the trial lesson. We will always let you know as soon as possible.

Take lessons at the weekend

That is possible, we are open every day. Please note, however, that the airport charges higher landing fees for all flights from early April to the end of September. That is why this is more expensive during this period if you want to take a lesson at the weekend.

I always had this little desire to "fly a plane". We don't have this opportunity in India (unless you sign up for the full license training etc). Last week, when I visited Netherlands, my son recommended E-Flight academy. I had booked the class for the day I arrived. However the weather was not good and the school rescheduled it to another day. We drove down from Amsterdam and were greeted by the trainer. Warm welcome, coffee, and explained about the aircraft, the controls and other aspects. I got into the plane and was guided superbly by the trainer - to the extent that I could do most of the actions - taxi, takeoff, some of the maneuvering (stall, 360 turn, go up down, fly along the river etc). Landing was done by the trainer and followed by a debrief. Personally, a superb experience - the school, the staff who managed the appointment, the trainer and the actual flying !

I fly as an instructor on the same type of electric plane back home in Norway, so when I visited the area I just had to do a quick flight with E-Flight. This school is nothing other than impressive. The details put the dot over the i. They even have their own solar panels on the roof. Both the instructor and the rest of the staff are super welcoming and friendly, and skilled. The Velis Electro is an awesome airplane, quiet and comfortable - and E-Flights instructors make this into a great experience. Highly recommended! Thank you for being awesome, and thank you for helping bring electric aviation to the World, E-Flight!

My son (16) flew (himself!) with a seasoned E-Flight Academy instructor and could not stop talking about it on the way back home. Don't think this is just a fun attraction though, they are serious about flying. And take you serious. Even in this introductionary flight he got to learn a lot about the procedures, the plane, the avionics. And of course it is also great fun! It was a wonderful afternoon. And since it was an electric flight and E-flight Academy creates their own solar energy it was silent and clean! Thank you so much, we wish you many successes in pioneering the future of flight!

I did a trial lesson here and it was an amazing experience! The aircraft are brand new, the instructor was great and I could control the aircraft for most of the flight, doing some really interesting manoeuvres. It was also a good opportunity to learn more about electric aircraft.

Last Thursday I went flying at E-flight academy in Teuge to try out a class on the Pipistrel velis electro, I was really looking forward to flying an electric plane as its something new and innovative. The instructor was very friendly and gave a great explanation of the basics. While in the air the instructor still demonstrated some manoeuvres such as a stall and sharp turns. When it was my turn to fly I made some turns and went flying around the clouds, it was great! Overall I would say give it a try, flying electric is also a lot quieter.
