Minister Harbers visits E-Flight Academy

Minister Harbers (Infrastructure and Water Management) paid a visit to Teuge airfield in August at the invitation of the KNVvL, AOPA, NACA and NVL. The working visit started at E-Flight Academy where the minister was visibly impressed by all the developments currently taking place at Teuge airfield in the field of sustainable aviation.

"It feels like I'm walking into the future!" said the Minister when he entered the blue-lit hangar of E-Flight Academy. After a short presentation by Matthijs Collard (co-founder of E-Flight Academy) about the developments in electric flying, the minister received a tour of the four electric aircraft of E-Flight Academy.

Minister Harbers was visibly impressed by all the developments currently taking place at Teuge airfield in the field of sustainable aviation. Finally, he also took a seat in the cockpit of the Pipistrel Velis Electro, the only certified electric aircraft in the world.
