E-Flight Academy flies with 4 fully electric airplanes

E-Flight Academy was founded in May 2021 as the first electric flight school in the world. Today the sustainable flight school has 35 students and flies daily with no less than 4 fully electric aircraft, quietly and cleanly from Teuge airfield (near Apeldoorn).

Only certified electric aircraft in the world

E-Flight Academy flies with aircraft of the Pipistrel Velis Electro type. This ultra-modern two-seater of Slovenian make is currently the only certified electric aircraft in the world that is allowed to fly.

Nowhere in the world is there as much electric flying as in Teuge

Worldwide, more and more flight schools and other organizations are exploring the use of electric aircraft. But because E-Flight started with it back in May 2021 and they now fly daily with 4 fully electric aircraft, more than 4200 electric flight movements have already been made. This makes Teuge airfield the world leader in terms of number of electric flight movements. And still counting...
