Finance Manager (hours per week to be agreed)

The Role

As Finance Manager you become the financial engine of our organization. You take full ownership of our financial processes and help us grow strategically from startup to market leader.

What you'll do:

  • Financial Planning: Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling
  • Pricing Strategy: Optimizing pricing for flight lessons, training programs and other products.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage suppliers, leasing contracts, partnerships
  • Investment Cases: Business cases for new aircraft, facilities, expansion
  • Reporting: Management dashboards, investor updates, quarterly reviews
  • Administrative Support: Support administrative processes, contact with external accountant
  • Process Optimization: Automate financial workflows, efficiency improvements
  • Strategic Support: Support funding rounds, M&A options and strategic planning.

Who we're looking for

Experience: at least 3 years in finance/operations, preferably scale-up experience
Background: University/College Finance, Economics, Business Administration
Skills: Google Sheets expert, financial modeling, contract negotiation
Personality: Hands-on, analytical, entrepreneurial, can work independently

Bonus points:

  • Experience with pricing strategy & revenue optimization
  • Background in aviation, transport, or tech industry
  • Experience with fundraising/investor relations
  • Knowledge of subsidies and innovation financing
  • Experience with scaling up methodology
