What is it?
Becoming a piltot is a dream for many. It is also an investment of time and money. To make sure that flying is really something for you, we offer an assessment. It gives a very good impression of the training, the experience of flying and your own aptitude.
An assessment consists of six flying lessons. These are also the first six lessons of the PPL training. So they count already towards the minimum 45 hours. After these lessons you will have answers to the following questions:
- Is flying really your dream? Is it worth the investment?
- Do you have a talent for becoming a pilot?
In other words; Do you really want this? And how realistic is it that you can take and pass your practical exam within the minimum requirement of 45 hours of flying? On average, people need 6 to 10 extra lessons.
After the six lessons, you will evaluate the training with the instructor. You may indeed think it's fantastic and have talent too. You or the instructor may also come to the conclusion that becoming a pilot might not be for you. You discuss the rest of the training. Of course, the hours you have worked count towards obtaining your certificate.
What do you need and what you don't need
You do not need to have passed a medical examination or have passed a theory exam for this assessment.
The following conditions also apply
- You are 16 years or older.
- Are you heavier than 90 kilos, or very tall, give us a call. With a maximum takeoff weight of 600 kilograms, there are restrictions.
Agree date and time
You can choose your time slots directly with your order. You can also do that later. We will send you the information and all possible dates on which you can plan lessons. It may of course be that the weather is bad and we have to move the trial lesson. We will always let you know as soon as possible.
