Minister Harbers visits E-Flight Academy

Minister Harbers (Infrastructure and Water Management) visited Teuge airport in August at the invitation of KNVvL, AOPA, NACA, and NVL. The working visit started at E-Flight Academy where the minister was visibly impressed by all the developments in sustainable aviation currently taking place at Teuge airport. 

It feels like I'm walking into the future! The Minister said as he entered the blue-lit hangar of E-Flight Academy. After a brief presentation by Matthijs Collard (co-founder of E-Flight Academy) on the developments of electric flying, the minister was given a tour along the four electric airplanes from E-Flight Academy. 

Minister Harbers was visibly impressed by all the developments currently taking place in the field of sustainable aviation at Teuge airport. Finally, he also took a seat in the cockpit of the Pipistrel Velis Electro, the only certified electric aircraft in the world.
