Haal je Single Engine Piston/Power Class Rating bij E-Flight Academy.

Voor wie is het?

Heb je een LAPL of hoger? Of ben je verkeersvlieger maar heb je geen SEP rating? Doe dan bij ons de Single Engine Piston / Power opleiding. Je kan deze opleiding op onze Pipistrel Explorer piston engine doen, of de volledig elektrische Pipistrel Velis. Bij interesse voor de Bristell B23, neem contact met ons op voor een maatwerk-offerte.

Praktijk

  • Tenminste drie vlieglessen van 1 uur op de Pipistrel Explorer, of vier vlieglessen van 45 minuten op de Pipistrel Velis
  • Op beide types (brandstof/elektrisch) is examen nodig als je beide types wil vliegen
  • Tenminste 10 landingen (10 landingen zijn bij ons bij de prijs inbegrepen, indien meer landingen noodzakelijk zijn is dit op basis van nacalculatie)
  • 1 uur vliegtuighuur (1 vlucht Explorer of mogelijk 2 vluchten Velis) voor de examenvlucht (indien langer nodig blijkt is dit op basis van nacalculatie) 

Theorie

Tijdens de praktijkopleiding wordt er ook een stuk theorie gegeven. Reken op 8 uur theorie samen met de instructeur en 8 uur thuisstudie. Tijdens het examen wordt de theoretische kennis mondeling getoetst door de examinator.

Goed om te weten

  • Een single engine class rating kan gehaald worden op een elektrisch model of brandstof model. Indien je op beide varianten wilt kunnen vliegen raden we je aan eerst op het brandstofmodel een SEP class rating te halen en vervolgens de E-conversie te doen naar ons elektrisch model. Voor de E-conversie is namelijk geen examen nodig. Als je kiest om de SEP class rating te halen op een elektrisch toestel mag je daarna niet zomaar met een brandstofmodel vliegen en vice versa.
  • Voor een SEP class rating heb je reeds een geldig LAPL of PPL nodig. Een hoger brevet zoals CPL of ATPL kan natuurlijk ook.
  • Voor LAPL houders moeten naast de 'dual' SEP praktijk training ook nog 10 solo starts en landingen gemaakt worden onder supervisie van de instructeur. Hiervoor is een vlucht van anderhalf uur geplanned (Virus) of twee vluchten van 45 minuten (Velis). Laat ons weten wanneer dit het geval is.
  • Je moet beschikken over een medisch certificaat van tenminste klasse 2.
  • De examinator en de examenkosten zitten niet in de prijs inbegrepen (reken op 250 euro voor een examinator). Ook zijn de landingsgelden tijdens het examen niet inbegrepen. Deze worden na het examen in rekening gebracht. 
  • Het bovenstaande praktijkprogramma is het minimaal aantal uren. Afhankelijk van de persoon kan er meer training nodig zijn.
  • Indien je zowel piston als elektrisch mag vliegen na de opleiding dien je voor beiden de geldigheid bij te houden. Hiervoor geldt helaas geen 'cross-crediting' in de wetgeving.
  • Als je ooit al in bezit bent geweest van een SEP maar deze hebt laten verlopen en deze toch weer geldig wilt maken, neem dan contact met ons op voor meer info. Dit geldt ook als je voor 'revalidation' een trainingsvlucht moet maken. Vaak is een aangepaste syllabus mogelijk.
  • Je bent zelf verantwoordelijk om de brevetwijziging bij KIWA aan te vragen. We helpen je wel op weg.

Les nemen in het weekend

Dat kan, we zijn elke dag open. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het vliegveld in de periode van begin april tot eind september hogere landingsgelden hanteert voor alle vluchten. Daarom is deze opleiding duurder in deze periode als je in het weekend wilt lessen.

I always had this little desire to "fly a plane". We don't have this opportunity in India (unless you sign up for the full license training etc). Last week, when I visited Netherlands, my son recommended E-Flight academy. I had booked the class for the day I arrived. However the weather was not good and the school rescheduled it to another day. We drove down from Amsterdam and were greeted by the trainer. Warm welcome, coffee, and explained about the aircraft, the controls and other aspects. I got into the plane and was guided superbly by the trainer - to the extent that I could do most of the actions - taxi, takeoff, some of the maneuvering (stall, 360 turn, go up down, fly along the river etc). Landing was done by the trainer and followed by a debrief. Personally, a superb experience - the school, the staff who managed the appointment, the trainer and the actual flying !

I fly as an instructor on the same type of electric plane back home in Norway, so when I visited the area I just had to do a quick flight with E-Flight. This school is nothing other than impressive. The details put the dot over the i. They even have their own solar panels on the roof. Both the instructor and the rest of the staff are super welcoming and friendly, and skilled. The Velis Electro is an awesome airplane, quiet and comfortable - and E-Flights instructors make this into a great experience. Highly recommended! Thank you for being awesome, and thank you for helping bring electric aviation to the World, E-Flight!

My son (16) flew (himself!) with a seasoned E-Flight Academy instructor and could not stop talking about it on the way back home. Don't think this is just a fun attraction though, they are serious about flying. And take you serious. Even in this introductionary flight he got to learn a lot about the procedures, the plane, the avionics. And of course it is also great fun! It was a wonderful afternoon. And since it was an electric flight and E-flight Academy creates their own solar energy it was silent and clean! Thank you so much, we wish you many successes in pioneering the future of flight!

I did a trial lesson here and it was an amazing experience! The aircraft are brand new, the instructor was great and I could control the aircraft for most of the flight, doing some really interesting manoeuvres. It was also a good opportunity to learn more about electric aircraft.

Last Thursday I went flying at E-flight academy in Teuge to try out a class on the Pipistrel velis electro, I was really looking forward to flying an electric plane as its something new and innovative. The instructor was very friendly and gave a great explanation of the basics. While in the air the instructor still demonstrated some manoeuvres such as a stall and sharp turns. When it was my turn to fly I made some turns and went flying around the clouds, it was great! Overall I would say give it a try, flying electric is also a lot quieter.
