E-Flight starts sustainable cooperation with Flight Design

April 28th Friedrichshafen - Dutch sustainable aviation start-up E-Flight announced close cooperation with German sustainable aircraft manufacturer Flight Design. E-Flight will become an importer and dealer for The Netherlands and The Dutch Antilles. They will also work closely together on flight simulator development and production.

CO2 compensation for every first 2000 flying hours
Flight Design is the market leader in sustainable light aircraft. The F2 is their newest aircraft. The F2 is CS-23 certified, features an innovative Garmin avionic suite, and has a super efficient Rotax motor. For every first 2000 flying hours Flight Design will compensate for the CO2. E-Flight will start selling the F2 from their homebase in Teuge (near Apeldoorn) mid 2022.

100% electric available from 2024
The full-electric version of the F2 is the F2e. The F2e is destined to be a leader in the next major change in flight training and personal recreation. The F2e was designed to meet EASA CS-23 and FAA Part 23/F44 certification for electric aircraft. It includes 75KWH batteries and can fly for 144 minutes. The F2e will be available for sale at E-Flight from 2024.

About E-Flight

The fleet of E-Flight Academy will expand with 1 F2 and 3 F2e's from Flight Design. This summer they will open new electric flight academies in Germany and Bonaire.

E-Flight believes in a world with quiet and clean airspace where everyone can fly and can keep flying. Without any sense of shame.
