Have you always wanted to learn to fly? Just try it! At E-Flight academy you can fly in an ultramodern, 100% electric plane. You will fly much quieter, cleaner and easier than a conventional plane. Together with an experienced instructor you fly the plane yourself. You will be surprised by the smooth experience and you will have an unforgettable experience.

The Netherlands is beautiful, especially from the air. From Teuge Airport there is a wide choice of views. How about the beautiful city of Deventer, the Palace 't Loo, Julianatoren, nature park Berg en Bos, the Apenheul zoo, the twists of the IJssel river, the Veluwezoom, various castles, national park Veluwe and the Veluwemeer or the Grebbeberg? You will be be able to navigate towards these gems in this lesson.

A genuine lesson

A trial lesson at E-Flight is really a complete lesson. After arrival at Airport Teuge you will receive a briefing and familiarize yourself with the aircraft in advance. You'll learn about the technology, flight characteristics and controls. We taxi to the runway and take off to stay in the air for 35 to 40 minutes. You will learn to climb, descend and turn. After the landing we drive back to the hangar and you will get a full debriefing. In total, the lesson lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Would you like to take a look around the cockpit? You can do that below.

After the trial lesson

Did you like it and do you want more? Then you can consider getting a  Private Pilot License (PPL) or Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL) training with us. Starting with an assessment of six lessons is also an option. When you decide to follow a PPL or LAPL training, your trial lesson already counts towards as the first official lesson.

Today I had my first flight in an all-electric little aircraft (Pipistrel Velis). How different would it fly compared to piston aircraft I am used to ?I noted the following items :- simplicity of aircraft and systems- good comfort and great visibility, especially sideways- low noise level (good for your neighbours)- very easy to fly, stable- almost impossible to stall- slow in cruise (80 kts)- slick design, so very good glide ratio. In the traffic circuit you need to reduce power early- it is all about power management. Not that difficult but needs another mindset.Didn't like the flap handle design. Limited endurance too, but was aware of that.E-Flight is a nice outfit. My instructor (Matthijs) was very friendly, enthousiastic and professional. Good communications, too.As a conclusion : highly recommended to try yourself. Good chance you will be hooked.Looking forward when electric flying will become the norm for shorter flights and flight training. Just a matter of time.

Elektrisch vliegen gaat de wereld op z'n kop zetten. En je kunt het nu al zelfr ervaren in Nederland. Onder begeleiding van een ervaren piloot ga je met dit volledig elektrische vliegtuig het luchtruim verkennen. De afspraken zijn snel gemaakt, de communicatie is helder en overzichtelijk. De ontvangst op de luchthaven allerhartelijkst en ook eenmaal in de lucht is het uitstekend.Hele dikke aanrader.Tip: ook leuk als verjaardagskado! ;-)
